  • Short Name: SRBL (Solar Radio Burst Locator)II
  • Brief description: An automated, ground-based instrument developed at Caltech and currently operated by the NJIT Center for Solar-Terrestrial Research.
  • URL: http://www.ovsa.njit.edu/srbl/data.html
  • Type: DATA/Observational
  • English Language: YES
  • Start date: 1998-02-01
  • Stop date: 2006-06-05
  • Restricted access: NO
  • Longer description:
The OVRO prototype typically remains on-sun from dawn to dusk when not undergoing repair or testing. Its field of view subtends the entire solar disk at all frequencies from 245 MHz to 18 GHz. It may therefore contribute to many coordinated observing campaigns pursued by the scientific community, even those which concentrate on individual active regions.
