Accessible through the net: www.rssd.esa.int/psa
ESA Planetary Science Archive (PSA) that includes the data coming from any ESA planetary missions. It includes some ground-based data (for comets Halley and Wirtanen).
Original data from any ESA planetary missions.
For the ground-based data: provided by observers and formatted according to the PDS standard.
A tool (PVV= PDS Volume Verifier) is developed to help the data producers to format the data set(s) to the PDS standard.
Raw, calibrated, higher level, depending on the data producer(s).
Active. The archive contains the data from the following missions: GIOTTO, Mars Express (on going),Smart-1 (ongoing),and will contain the data from: Huygens, Venus Express, Rosetta, Bepi-Colombo, Chandrayaan-1 (TBC).
